Resident & Visitor Parking

Carpark Entry & Exit

Residents are reminded about the etiquette relating to the Entry and Exit of the property carpark.

Due to the position of the carpark entrance intercom, residents and their guests are asked to enter the carpark from the right hand side of the entrance, when looking at the carpark entrance from Whitehorse Road.

This is intended to mitigate the risk of visitors needing to gain entry to the carpark through use of the intercom system, are not required to exit their vehicles to use the intercom.

This is to reduce the risk of a vehicle rolling forward into the carpark door as a driver exits the vehicle to use the intercom.

Residents are reminded that they are required to advise their visitors and guests of this requirement, to ensure that entry and exit of the carpark is unimpeded by other vehicles and all vehicles move in and out of the carpark in the same manner.

Visitor Parking

The building has 14 visitor parking spaces designated for residents’ guests and visitors.

This is a limited number, given the total number of lots on the premises.

As such, residents are reminded that these visitor spaces are intended solely for the use of short term visitors, to ensure that the availability of these spaces remain available equally to all residents’ guests.

Residents who have guests staying for an extender period of time are required to submit a request to the committee and Owners Corporation to reserve a visitor parking allocation for their guest or visitor.
Requests are granted based on availability of space at the time of the request being made.

Residents are reminded that all lots have an allocation of parking reserved for their lot in either the Apartment or Townhouse parking areas.

Visitor parking use is monitored regularly, and residents found to be misusing the Visitor Parking facilities are in breach of the Registered Rules and are taking away the availability of Visitor parking from other lot’s visitors and guests, and will be subject to a Breach Notice.

Requests for Visitor Parking can be made at the link below.

Parking Space Etiquette

Residents are reminded that their parking spaces are not to be used as storage spaces. Each lot has a dedicated storage space on B2 or B3, and parking spaces are not to be utilised for general storage.

There are some exceptions that have been granted by t he Committee for small items such as work footwear, small personal trolleys and child prams that are folded up and stored neatly.

Request for exceptions can be made to the Owners Corporation at the link below.

Residents are also reminded of their obligation to maintain their assigned parking space in a neat a tidy condition.

To ensure the carpark remains safe and well maintained, residents are required to keep their parking space clean and free of engine oil or flammable substances.

For any questions about your requirements for maintaining your parking spaces to the expected standards, please contact the Owner Corporation Manager.
