Moving In

Welcome to Mont Albert Place

Moving into a new place is always an exciting time. And we look forward to welcoming you to Mont Albert Place!

When moving in, there are some important things to remember to ensure that the process is smooth for you, and minimises disruptions to you new neighbours.

If you are moving in with the assistance of a removalist company, please ensure you attain and provide the Owners Corporation a copy of your removalist’s proof of Public Liability Insurance. This is commonly referred to as Certificate of Currency.

If you are moving in to Levels 1, 2, 3 or 4, you will require the use of the Apartment lifts. Please ensure you have made arrangements with the Owners Corporation to have a lift prepared for your move in day, so that the protective covers can be put in place to prevent damage to the lift.

While moving in through the front of the property, please ensure that you are mindful of maintaining the security of the building for other residents and do not keep the front door to the property propped open while you are not there. You may be liable for any incidents that occur as a result of the front door being left open and unattended.

Please also be mindful to not block Common Property areas that may hamper other residents movements through the building during your move in.
In the event of an emergency, it is imperative that emergency exits, corridors, fire escapes and fire fighting equipment are not blocked.

Accidents do happen, however, if damage to the Common Property does occur during your move in, you must let the Owners Corporation know immediately.

Residents who are moving in are asked to familiarise themselves with the expectations and rules regarding the Waste Rooms.

Moving Out

Thanks for being part of out Community

We hope you enjoyed your time as part of the Mont Albert Place community.

The same expectations for moving in apply to moving out.

Please ensure you adhere to the courtesy, security and safety expectation as outlined in the Move In process, outlined above.

It is important that other residents are not impacted by your moving out process.

Residents who are moving out are reminded of the rules regarding Hard Waste.
The Waste Room on Level B1 is not the place for Hard Waste or unwanted furniture to be left.

Residents who are moving out are still obliged to adhere to the Rules regarding dumping of items in the Waste Room, and you will still be in breach of the rules and will receive a Breach Notice should you choose to place items in the Waste Room that are considered to be hazardous or Hard Waste.
